Pokemon X and Y releasing in October!

Probably one of the best news I have received this year involves Pokemon X and Y!

This is the pokemon game to be released for the Nintendo 3ds. And it is beautiful~ Check out these trailers!

Yeap, nintendo's not being shy with trailers and I like it! This will be the first pokemon adventure game to be played in full 3D. Other new things they will be adding to this are more customization options for your character (yay!), other travelling methods like riding pokemons and also public transport (yay! Good game freak, this is one of the ways to introduce the game world better), Instead of just one starter, you get to pick one old starter as well, charmander, squirtle and bulbasaur (I take pride in pointing out that I did not have to look their names up to get the correct spelling or have trouble spelling their names =D), a new method of evolution will be introduced, called Mega Evolutions, these evolutions will not be permanent and will require a special hold item to trigger the evolution, also, only certain pokemon can Mega-Evolve. The pokemon they have annonunced for Mega-Evolving are Mewtwo, Lucario, Blaziken, Ampharos, Absol and Mawile. After that they released another video showing Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise will be getting some them as well! The new evil team is Team Flare, a very fashionable team that wants money.

With all these new additions, I can say two things, nintendo is introducing a lot of new things for this game and I LIKE IT! I'm happy that nintendo is appealing to its old fans by giving you the old starters and I just want to buy this game even more now... They will also introduce a new way to move pokemon over from older generations via Pokemon Bank, this will allow you to store pokemon in the cloud and that storage space is accesible by any other pokemon game they will make in the future! The bad news is that this service will not be available for free, there is a small fee required like 500 yen (that's like 5 dollars to them, so its reasonable) for Malaysia, its around RM15 when you covert it and you only have to pay yearly so I don't really mind =)

For more in depth explainations, I ususally follow jwittz, dookieshed and tamashii hiroka on youtube, they bring pokemon updates all the time and they're really up-to-date and for discussions I watch gamexplain on youtube as well =)
